Information About my 2018 Dodge Ram ProMaster 1500

My 2018 Dodge Ram ProMaster Camper Van Model 1500 is “For Sale” now, and maybe it can help you accomplish your goals. The van is completely self contained, mobile, and a safe “off the grid” alternative when you need it.

Recent mountain and coastal wild fires in the Los Angeles area  have devastated people’s lives, homes, businesses, and many other structures.

People are without homes and jobs… no shelter, no electricity, and no fresh water.

The interior of my van is literally about the size of a prison cell, and I wouldn’t want to live in it full time, but it can offer relief and a safe alternative to homeless shelters, or worse right now.

Here’s what it offers as a mobile shelter on wheels: It’s a safe place to sleep, and has electricity that does not require a public utility or propane gas tanks to keep you warm, cook your food, run your computer, watch tv, or wash your body. It has four Battle Born Batteries that can hold 4,800 watts of solar power generated from two rooftop solar panels that can collect up to 720 watts of sunshine per hour.

It has the capacity to power any tool or device that runs on 12 volts direct current (DC) just by plugging in the electrical chord into a wall socket in the van.

It has the capacity to power many electrical devices that require 110 volt alternating current (AC) by plugging into a wall outlet inside my van. That’s because it has a Go Power 3000 watt Pure Sine Wave Inverter

The interior walls are insulated with foil backed cloth insulation along with Dynamite Dynaliner adhesive sound deadener to keep you warm (and cool), and quiet when needed.

Everything inside the van was professionally installed by licensed contractors. That includes the flooring, the closet and drawers, the food grade butcher block counter top, Dometic sink,  the Isotherm Refrigerator Freezer (you can make ice or ice cream inside the van) without ever needing a utility line.

The electronics are the some of the best, and the installation throughout was state of the art.

My van is in great shape, and only has 25,250 miles on it. I drove it to go camping and fishing, and when not being driven it was parked inside my garage next to my car.

It’s a two person vehicle, with a standard roof height, which means if you’re a tall person it wouldn’t work for you. I’m 5’9″ tall (five feet nine inches), so I cannot stand up completely without “flexing” my knees. That’s a fact, but that didn’t hinder my enjoyment in it.

The bed mattress was custom manufactured by Leisure Industries and is 58″ wide by 70″ long. My dog and I slept well on it.

There is no built-in toilet, but plenty of “porta potty” alternatives, and I never had problems when “nature called”….inside the van or out.

I am ready to sell my van, mostly because I am now an older person (77 years old), and my dog has passed. The enjoyment we had was perfect, and I put a lot of money into it to make sure that it was.

I know that it’s “over improved” and I put way too much money into it, so although the price may seem high, what I’m asking for it is less than half of what I paid for to build it out. I have no regrets, and if it could help you through recent hard times that would be nice.
